The exhibition catalogue of Current introduces the compelling new and recent works of three distinguished First Nations artists set to tour Australia from 2023 to 2025. Gail Mabo (Meriam), Lisa Waup (Gunditjmara/Torres Strait Islands), and Dominic White (Palawa/Trawlwoolway) are celebrated for their artistry that resonates deeply with their ancestral lands and waters.

Titled Current, the publication not only highlights the contemporary practices of these multidisciplinary artists but also symbolizes the dynamic flow of water passages along Australia's eastern coast, connecting Zenadh Kes/Torres Strait in the north to lutruwita/Tasmania in the south.
