Collage is a medium of Brevity. This theme is represented in the selection of pages and collages made from 5 artists books between 2005 and 2025 by Brisbane based artist, Bruce Reynolds.

'Brevity' brings together 50 such collages, using a process that emerges from the historical and the disposable. Destruction is its beginning and everything endures as a fragment, carrying a stamp of time and place. BRUCE REYNOLDS is a Brisbane based artist who grew up in Canberra, whose migrant background is English and Nigerian. His practice enlists materiality to evoke a dialogue between recent histories and the archaic.
