Between Waves introduces ten substantial new artworks that navigate the intersections of internal and external realms, embracing the sensory and cyclical rhythms of light, sound, thought, feeling, listening, seeing, and the resonance of material memory.

Between Waves foregrounds the contemporary art practices of First Nations artists from the Southeast, positioning their contributions within a broader national context. Featured artists include Hayley Millar Baker, Maree Clarke, Dean Cross, Brad Darkson, Matthew Harris, James Howard, Jazz Money, Mandy Quadrio, Cassie Sullivan, and the collective 'this mob.'

This publication provides comprehensive documentation of all exhibited works in the Between Waves exhibition, complemented by a curatorial essay authored by Jessica Clark. Additionally, the publication features newly commissioned writings contributed by Natalie Harkin and Tina Baum, enhancing the discourse surrounding the exhibition's themes and artistic expressions.
