99 Names is the debut monograph by Ayman Kaake, and pushes against criminalisation of queer people in the Islamic and Arabic world.

Equally loving and distant, the book plays with symbols, cultural practices and religious iconography of Islam and Arabia, culminating in a book that imagines a world where queer islamic people flourish and engage in their home cultures.
